Vacheron Constantin has created a unique time piece whose dial is inspired by Chagall’s painiting of the ceiling of the Paris Opera and representing the works of four great composers: Beethoven, G. Bizet, Gluck and Verdi.

The hand painted enamel dial is a work of art in itself necessitating  2 months to be finished.
The work was originally commissioned to decorate the ceiling of the Paris Opera, a work characterized by Marc Chagall’s style – bright, delightful use of colours and nudes in various poses.
The entire work, miniaturized onto the 40mm diameter of a watch dial was taken by Anita Porcet, an extraordinary and independent enamelist.

A magnificent piece of art!
